Vocabulary Definitions

Recounts- Remembering something and telling it.
E.g.: Sarah recounts where she left her bag after she found out it was gone.

Acrid- Harmful, burning, and chemical.
E.g.: The rug caught fire and there was an acrid smoke.

Lucid- A well- detailed and clear story.
E.g.: Officer Joe offered a lucid story about the assassin to the reporters.

Corroborate- To strengthen and support evidence, make more certain; confirm.
E.g.: He corroborated my personal information wit the officials to verify that I had no records.

Elusive- Unknown.
E.g.: The scientific theory was extremely elusive to me.

Disoriented- Confused.
The injured citizens were disoriented after the shootings in Mumbai.

Speculated- To guess.
E.g.: The officials speculated that the assassin was done by the most dangerous man.

Analyzed- By looking at data before and then predicting. But looking at the data first. A theory.
E.g.: The Big Bang theory is analyzed, nobody knows if it is correct but by looking at the data scientists can say it might have started the Universe.

What I Did Over Break?

I went to a tree cutting place.
I saw an enormous tree which was an amazing site.
I took a few photos there.
I put them on a power point presentation.
